2: Advice for Friends of the Bereaved (10 minutes):

Offers advice…what to do, what not to do…when a friend loses a loved one. It also acquaints the audience with the symptoms of grief, enabling them to know what they might expect from their bereaved friend.

3: Living When a Loved One has died (19 minutes):

5: But He Was Only Seventeen: The Death of a Friend (37 minutes):

Helps young people and adults recognize their feelings about the death, specifically the sudden death of a peer. Explains there are no right/wrong ways of grieving.

6: Talking About Death With Children (13 minutes):

Explains to children in their own terms what death means, why it occurs, and why we have funerals. Ideal for both parents and children.

7: A Taste of Blackberries (16 minutes):

The animated story of a young boy whose best friend dies suddenly. It relates his courage in facing the death and the enormity of his grief.

8: Understanding Grief: Kids Helping Kids (14 minutes):

This sensitive film is designed for adolescents 9-14. Children are interviewed who have actually lost a loved one or pet. They discuss their feelings and what made them feel better. The result is a very real film about real emotions.

9: Sudden Infant Death Syndrome – The Unfulfilled Promise (19 minutes):

Provides valuable guidance and information that can help any individual, professional or group that may come into contact with surviving family members.

10: Did Jenny Have to Die? Preventing Teen Suicide (41 minutes):

This gripping drama deals with one teenage suicide, revealing some of the warning signs, causes and ways of preventing suicide. Effectively told as witnessed through the eyes of family members, friends, teachers and the victim herself.

11: Teens Who Chose Life, The Suicidal Crisis (45 minutes):

Tells the stories of three teenagers who attempted suicide and survived, and who go on to tell what a mistake suicide is. Emphasizes that there are other ways to cope with stress and depression.

12: Crack! (15 minutes):

Alerts viewers to the dangers of Crack Cocaine. Attributes the alarming popularity among teens to its trendiness, low cost, availability and ease of use. Interviews with six former teenage addicts.

13: How Can I tell if I’m Hooked (25 minutes):

Without preaching or criticizing, this superb program assists teenagers in recognizing possible addiction in themselves or peers. Discusses addiction to alcohol, drugs, cigarette smoking and over-eating.

14: When Your Loved One is Dying (17 minutes):
